About Olivia L. Rigg & S.C.A.R.S.

I’m Olivia L. Rigg — an author, artist, and storyteller drawn to the spaces where friendship, family, love, grief, resilience, and truth collide.

My creative work has always been rooted in connection. Whether through visual art or fiction, I’m interested in the parts of people that are not immediately visible , the histories they carry, the identities they protect, the relationships that shape them, and the truths they reveal only when they are ready.

That idea became the heart of the S.C.A.R.S. Series.

S.C.A.R.S. is a five-book women’s fiction and suspense series following five women:

S — Sadie
C — Cia
A — Aria
R — Rain
S — Spirit

Each woman carries a truth that has been buried, protected, denied, or survived.

The women know one another deeply — but not completely.

Across the series, readers meet them one woman at a time and discover how friendship, loyalty, grief, love, justice, secrets, and survival connect their lives.

The visual identity of S.C.A.R.S. is just as important to me as the written stories.

The masks represent the versions of ourselves we present to the world - the polished self, the strong self, the desirable self, the loyal self, the unbothered self.

These masks are not necessarily lies.

Sometimes they are protection.

Sometimes they are survival.

The recurring faceless woman represents all five women at once -and, more broadly, every woman who has carried something privately while continuing to move through the world.

Her turned back says:

This is the part of me you have not earned yet.

At its core, S.C.A.R.S. is not only about wounds.

It is about what remains after survival.

The first book, S.C.A.R.S. - S: Sadie, is available now.

Next comes Cia, followed by Aria, Rain, and finally Spirit, where the full picture comes together.

One woman at a time.
One mask at a time.
One truth at a time.
